So the girls have been acting very odd when it comes to meals. They used to eat really well, but the last few days they've been throwing more on the floor than eating it. Today, we tried to do it a bit different. First, we tried to eat breakfast as soon as we got up. Then we did lunch later. So that was breakfast before 8 and lunch around 12. Then we did a snack instead of early dinner (waffle wheel puffs, a mum mum and their milk cups), then they were distracted and playing until 6. I heated up leftovers from last night and ate with them.
Tonight at dinner they both ate several chunks of sausage and chicken from my chicken sausage rice casserole, 1/2 of a sweet potato, a handful of strawberries and TWO veggie pouches EACH!!! So who knows! Maybe they are growing again or maybe the change of routine worked.
Suggesting that you change a routine that has been working, and that you have (FINALLY) settled into is NOT what you want to hear. But it is worth trying something new if you find things aren't working. With twins, there's always a challenge of finding what works for BOTH girls but fortunately they seem to do well with the same solutions (most of the time).
